It was originally made in honor of the three Princesses, Margareta, Märta and Astrid in the 1930's by the Swedish Baker and cookbook writer Jenny Åkerström.
Our Princess Cakes are topped with our Own Marzipan *Please beware of any NUT ALLERGY, as Marzipan is made from Almonds*.
The cake itself is a yellow sponge cake filled with Raspberry or Strawberry Spread, Vanilla and Whipping Cream.
